ATL Pet Stop Combined Pet Services Agreement
Effective as of: April 16, 2025
This Combined Pet Services Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between ATL Pet Stop ("Facility") and either (a) the individual pet owner ("Owner") or (b) the professional pet shipping company or agent ("Shipper"), collectively referred to herein as "Client," regarding the services to be rendered for any pet(s) placed in the care of ATL Pet Stop ("Pet"). This Agreement applies to all current and future services provided by ATL Pet Stop to the Client.
SCOPE OF SERVICES
ATL Pet Stop offers a variety of services, including but not limited to boarding, daycare, veterinary coordination, general animal care, and ground transportation to airline cargo facilities or other designated parties (collectively, the "Services").
RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICES
ATL Pet Stop reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to refuse or discontinue Services to or for any Client or Pet at any time, with or without cause.
PAYMENT TERMS
Client agrees to pay in full all charges ("Charges") associated with the Services. ATL Pet Stop may require prepayment or a deposit prior to rendering Services. Any outstanding balances must be settled no later than the time of checkout. ATL Pet Stop may charge any card on file for unpaid Charges.
If a Pet is not picked up by the agreed checkout date, ATL Pet Stop may continue to provide Services and charge accordingly at current rates. Any legal or collection fees associated with overdue balances shall be the Client's responsibility.
TRANSPORTATION AND LIABILITY
ATL Pet Stop provides ground transport from its facility to airline cargo terminals or other authorized representatives as directed by the Owner or Shipper. Once the Pet is delivered to the airline or any designated agent, ATL Pet Stop relinquishes custody and shall have no further responsibility or liability for the Pet. The airline or receiving party assumes full responsibility upon delivery.
PROPERTY AND EQUIPMENT
ATL Pet Stop is not responsible for any property (including crates, bedding, leashes, documentation, or personal items) left at the Facility or rejected by any airline. Any such items may be discarded at ATL Pet Stop's sole discretion. ATL Pet Stop shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from items left behind or refused.
CLIENT REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
Each Client warrants that:
- They are the lawful owner or authorized agent for the Pet.
- All provided information regarding the Pet is accurate.
- The Pet has not been exposed to or diagnosed with any contagious condition within thirty (30) days prior toany visit.
- The Pet is current on all vaccinations required by ATL Pet Stop.
- HEALTH AND VETERINARY SERVICES
Should ATL Pet Stop determine in its sole discretion that veterinary care is necessary, it may engage a veterinarian and transport the Pet as needed. Client agrees to pay all veterinary and transport costs upon request and authorizes ATL Pet Stop to charge such expenses to any payment method on file.
If fleas, ticks, or parasites are detected, ATL Pet Stop may administer treatment and charge accordingly.
- EMERGENCY SITUATIONS
In the event of a natural disaster or emergency affecting Facility operations, ATL Pet Stop will attempt to contact the Client for early pickup. If contact is not possible or time is insufficient, ATL Pet Stop may relocate or protect the Pet at its discretion. Client agrees to pay all related costs.
ABANDONED PETS
If a Pet is not retrieved within five (5) days of the scheduled checkout, ATL Pet Stop may issue written notice to the Client requiring pickup within ten (10) days. Failure to do so shall constitute abandonment. ATL Pet Stop may then surrender, adopt out, or place the Pet at its discretion. Client remains liable for all Charges and waives rights to notice or further claims.
RISK ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND RELEASE
Client acknowledges inherent risks associated with animal care, including injury, illness, stress-induced conditions, allergic reactions, escape, property loss, or death. Client knowingly assumes all such risks and releases ATL Pet Stop and its affiliates from liability except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
INDEMNIFICATION
Client shall indemnify and hold harmless ATL Pet Stop and its agents from all claims, damages, or losses arising out of the Pet's condition, behavior, or the Client's breach of this Agreement. If the Pet causes injury or damage, Client authorizes ATL Pet Stop to release Client contact information to appropriate parties or authorities.
PHOTOGRAPHIC AND VIDEO RELEASE
Client grants ATL Pet Stop the irrevocable right to photograph or record the Pet for lawful promotional or educational purposes without compensation.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
This Agreement is governed by Georgia law. Disputes not resolved informally shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Fulton County, Georgia under AAA rules. If arbitration is unenforceable, Client waives any right to a jury trial and agrees to submit disputes to the courts of Fulton County, Georgia.
MISCELLANEOUS
This Agreement represents the full understanding between the parties for all current and future services provided by ATL Pet Stop and supersedes all prior agreements. If any part is deemed unenforceable, the remainder remains in effect. Electronic copies and digital signatures are valid and enforceable.
